Christmas is approaching and decorating your house with a nice灯笼 might actually brighten it up. Do you want to create a beautiful, cozy灯笼 at home by yourself? Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make a traditional Chinese lantern.
Lamboo card preparation
Get a rectangular piece of red card stock (I used an old month calendar card) and cut it into equal parts along parallel lines. Then use a paste pen to cut out the creases.
Fold it so that it forms a semi-circular shape, then seal the edges with tape on both sides. Now attach the top part using glue, which is your own decorative card.
After creating the decorative lantern, you can add more details like flowers or bright colors to make it even more stunning!
Notes:
Pencil and paste pen should be sharp, and remember to watch out for your hands while working. Otherwise, it might get messy!
